Can I Recover Lost Wages for Being Unable to Work after my Auto Accident?

Yes, you can. You may even be able to get partially compensated for your lost wages before your case settles. That way, if things are tight you can have some money when you need it most: to cover your expenses while you are unable to work due to your injuries.  

However, I must caution you - you need to get this done right away. If you are dealing with Massachusetts Personal Injury Protection ( PIP), the amount is limited, and it comes out of the same pool as your medical bills. It's the same allowance. If you are injured and unable to work after your auto accident, I'm sure you'll need as much money as you can get up front to get buy. You're better off worrying about getting your medical bills paid after you've recovered and are hopefully back to work. The medical bills payment can be paid as part of your final settlement check.

Getting the forms submitted correctly and properly to make sure you get your lost wages compensation can be a little tricky. If it's not done properly and in time, you may lose out on that opportunity.
